ONE DEFINED BY LIGHT

A quiet, thoughtful geometry permeates Linnea Glatt’s work. In One Defined By Light, a sheer square of fabric is layered on a circle of fabric, which is then adhered to paper. Glatt leaves the edges uneven and raw, calling attention to the materials’ subtle properties. The faint weave of the fabric and the textures of each material come together in a work that is utterly minimal, but full of nuance and detail. Glatt’s work has been shown throughout Texas, and she has permanent sculptural installations at numerous sites throughout the state.
