Individual works sold together
Inspired by fables, Decorative Arts, and Art Brut, Paris-based ceramic artist Saraï Delfendahl creates an ongoing series of small figurative works that become part of her own personal mythology. In these three recent works, the animal-human hybrids and their detailed patterning and attire suggest they are part of a rich folklore where human values are communicated through complex narratives, appearing almost as if they belong to the world of anthropological museums and their attempts to understand the past through excavated objects. Delfendahl’s work has been shown in Paris, Brussels, London, Milan, Dallas, and Tokyo.
