Gabriel Orozco Special Edition Bottle
Tequila Casa Dragones and renowned artist Gabriel Orozco collaborated on a special edition bottle in honor of his mid-career retrospective held in four leading museums throughout 2011: MoMA in New York City, Tate Modern in London, Centre Pompidou in Paris, and Kunstmuseum in Basel, Switzerland. The crystal bottle is engraved with Gabriel Orozco’s black kites motif, based on one of the artist’s most iconic works of art, and includes Orozco’s signature. Only 400 limited edition bottles have been produced. Each bottle is signed, numbered and dated by hand.
Danh Vo Special Edition Bottle
Internationally acclaimed artist Danh Vo commissioned Tequila Casa Dragones to create a special edition sipping tequila collection honoring the artist’s installation, mothertongue, at the Danish Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia, 56th International Art Exhibition. Comprised of twelve mixed-medium pieces, mothertongue is drawn from many inspirations, most notably the iconic 1973 film, The Exorcist. The special edition bottle of Casa Dragones sipping tequila has been hand-inscribed with a quote from the film by Vo’s father Phung Vo, whose elegant calligraphy is often present in the artist’s work. This special edition showcases the artist’s connections across time and place and represents Casa Dragones and Danh Vo’s shared passion for Mexico and for art.
