YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT AT THE OCTOBER 27th GALA TO BUY GREAT ART!
Works in the silent and live auctions at the October 27th gala can be identified by lot number on the bid sheets hung next to each piece at The Rachofsky House. To bid on an artwork in the silent auction, guests may enter their paddle number and bid amount, noting the required bidding increments. Works in the live auction are accompanied by labels that indicate they will be auctioned live during the gala dinner. To bid on an artwork in the live auction, you must be present at the gala or place an absentee bid by Friday, October 26, 2018.
If you are unable to attend TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art on Saturday, October 27, and would like to place a bid on a live or silent auction lot, you may complete the absentee bid form. A TWO x TWO auction representative can bid on your behalf up to your pre-set maximum bid. If the work is part of the live auction, you may also be on the phone with an auction representative to place your bids during the live auction. You may contact Meg Gratch at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance with Absentee Bidding.
Works in the OWNitNOW auction are accompanied by icons indicating they are part of the OWNitNOW pre-auction. These works will be for sale during the preview period from October 15 to October 26. For more information on how to bid on these items please refer to the OWNitNOW instructions at the beginning of the printed catalogue or online at twoxtwo.org/own-it-now.
Successful bidders, including absentee bidders, will be notified on Sunday, October 28. You may download the CONDITIONS OF SALE below for more information about winning bids. All works must be removed from The Rachofsky House by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 30, or they will be sent to storage at the winning bidder’s expense.
